It's the Year of the Snake! Here, have an ouroboros. More entertaining than a mundane snake. You can imagine him as the Aztec Ouroboros, rolling off into the sunset after his prediction failed.

Nice design and a new critter is welcome. Next year of the snake, you'll need to do Quetzacotl (or however it's spelled). I'll bet he'd be colorful.

I ran across a few of those doing research for this, but I opted for the Ouroboros just because I'm more familiar with medieval iconography. I'll definitely think about doing a Quetzalcoatl though - he might have been more appropriate considering all the Aztec stuff going down this year!
